Saturday was the first annual T.E.A.L. Walk in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, and Team Slayer came out to support ovarian cancer research despite the rain. Those who couldn’t make it were there in spirit. Check out some of the photos.

I think I’m going to have to get G’d up with a Slayer shirt.
This is a request for assistance in a research project. I am writing a book about my personal journey with multiple bouts of ovarian cancer. My intent is to collect information from other courageous survivors who have experienced a recurrent, cancer diagnosis. It is my experience that a 2nd or 3rd cancer diagnosis is rather frightening. These stories will eventually be compiled to offer help and hope to those facing this disease, more than once. My motives are to educate and inspire.
I am interested in discovering others who have been through the cancer experience, again. My purpose is to gather stories from survivors for a future book on this life changing, subject. I want to write how those of us have coped with different aspects of a health crisis. Please share your overall experiences regarding doctors, family, pain, emotional coping mechanisms, spiritual growth, alternative medicine and whatever else impacted your life. You are welcome to e-mail, cgrininger@q.com or speak directly to me at 303-288-1736. Complete confidentiality.
Respectfully, Christine Grininger
I love the t-shirts! Hope all is well, Kai and I have been incognegro and really need to get back on the scene. We hope to see you and B soon.
